We’re holding a Uniform Swap Shop on Wednesday 2nd July from 3.10pm, open to all students and families. This is a fantastic opportunity to exchange any blazers, PE kits or other uniform items your child has outgrown for pre-loved, larger sizes — kindly donated by our wonderful Year 11 students as they leave us for the next stage of their journeys. Let’s make sure good quality uniform continues to be used and accessible for everyone!

As the temperatures rise, please be assured that we are monitoring the situation closely. Any changes to the uniform policy due to hot weather will be communicated directly via Arbor.
If no message has been received, please assume that the normal school uniform rules remain in place. Families were contacted yesterday about today’s hot weather, and we’ll continue to keep you informed of any updates as the forecast develops.

We’re delighted to welcome students tomorrow for our Sixth Form Transition Day. An exciting range of lessons and enrichment activities have been planned to give students a real flavour of life in Chilwell Sixth Form. We look forward to helping them take this important next step in their academic journey.

Next week we’re excited to welcome our new Year 6 families for a Transition Evening in school. This is a key moment for both students and parents as they prepare to join the Chilwell community. Our Year 11 students celebrated in style at their Prom on Friday night — what a fantastic evening it was, full of joy and memories. It marked the end of an incredible five-year journey at Chilwell School.

Whether they’re joining us again in Sixth Form or heading straight into the world of work or further study, we wish each and every one of them the very best for the future.

Our incredible Year 11s had their prom last night, and what a night it was! The atmosphere was electric, the venue was stunning, and every single student looked absolutely amazing. 💃🕺

From glamorous dresses to sharp suits, the style was ...on point – a true celebration of hard work, friendships, and unforgettable memories.

A huge congratulations to our Prom King and Queen – Phillip and Molly! 👑 You both lit up the room and truly deserved your crowns.
