Chilwell School is seeking an enthusiastic, organised and proactive Careers and Post-16 Coordinator to join our successful team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about supporting young people to make informed decisions about their future education, training and employment pathways. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating careers education, employer engagement, work experience and Sixth Form recruitment activities, helping students achieve positive destinations and ensuring our Sixth Form continues to thrive.

Working closely with the Head of Sixth Form and colleagues across the school, you will coordinate careers events, develop partnerships with employers and education providers, organise work experience placements, support student transitions into Sixth Form and contribute to strategies that improve attendance, engagement and retention.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has excellent organisational and administrative skills.
  • Can build positive relationships with students, parents, employers and external partners.
  • Has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Is able to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Is committed to supporting young people to achieve their aspirations.
  • Has experience of event coordination, stakeholder engagement or working with young people (desirable).We can offer:
