We look forward to seeing your child and giving them this fantastic opportunity to experience our school.
We are pleased to be able to offer school tours during the school day from Monday 3rd October 2022 until half-term. If you are interested in booking a tour because you were unable to join us on open evening or because you want a further opportunity to see the school, please book a place via Eventbrite.
There have been significant changes to how we have supported transition over the past few years, but what has remained the same is the enthusiasm and dedication of staff to ensure that children are welcomed to Chilwell School. We are here with a smile and warmth as they take their first steps on their learning journey with us.
This section is dedicated to transition for our September 2023 cohort - including a video tour of the school and regular assemblies. There will also be updated information about the processes along with other information we think you and your child will find useful.
Typically, our year sevens have been involved in many wonderful opportunities; discovery days, sporting competitions, working with our year eleven prefects, alongside a comprehensive PSHCE programme – all of which we hope to replicate. During our registration period, tutors have welcomed their tutees with humour, positivity and caring approach which has accompanied the successful management of our high expectations.
We are also very aware that you may have questions, and we are keen to answer these where possible. For families who will be joining us in September 2023, please also see the guidance and FAQs section,
