In order to continually improve our extracurricular provision and provide the best opportunities for our students, please complete this short survey regarding our Cygnus programme.
Cygnus runs after school (3.20pm to 4.10pm) on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, you can choose from a wide range of activities all designed to enhance and extend your main school curriculum.
On each day, there are a range of clubs and activities for you to choose from, such as …

Cygnus will run each term (approximately 10 weeks), after which you can choose to continue with an activity or change to something new.
Cygnus is optional, so you can choose to select activities on just one day or all three.
To choose your activity for the autumn term, please use the relevant forms below. The deadline for completion is Friday 14th July 2023. We will re-open the booking system in September for activities that have spaces left for.

MUSIC LESSONS
Your son or daughter might wish to receive instrumental lessons at Chilwell School. We currently have instrumental self-employed peripatetic teachers who cater for woodwind, guitar, keyboard, piano, singing and drums. The cost of tuition on instruments is from £10.00 per 20 minute individual lessons and from £15.00 per 30 minute individual lessons, payable during the first week of each term, directly to the appropriate instrumental teacher (the price depends on the instrument taught).
