On Monday 9th, the Chilwell family of schools held our annual Christingle in Beeston parish church.
The church was already full well before 6pm and there was a lovely atmosphere. Trent Vale began the singing, followed by John Clifford, The Lanes, Beeston Rylands and then Chilwell school, before the Christingle procession and the whole church singing carols.
Chilwell's wind band played a number of pieces to an awe struck church. After the talented performances from the primary schools, it was great to see how older students have developed and refined their skills.
The wind band were followed by Keelan Colechin, who played the piano.
Chilwell's contribution closed with Ned Gorham singing "Have yourself a merry little Christmas"
We were very proud of the talent on display and the sense of family and warmth in the church. Thank you everyone for taking part.
