Girls rugby
We will be starting a regular KS3 girls rugby club from Tuesday 30th January, 3:20 - 4:20pm. Mr Lodge has sent home information on class charts, so please look out for this if your child is interested.

Mock examinations
Our year eleven and thirteen students have now had their results back from their mock examinations and this means we are truly in the run up to the examinations this summer. There will be more revision guidance and support offered now as well as examination timetables and resources being issued as we get closer to the end of these examination courses. Mr Moore will be co-ordinating further updates.

Tree Removal for Safety Reasons

I share some unfortunate news regarding the removal of certain trees on our school premises. Over the past weeks, our groundskeeping team has conducted a thorough assessment of the trees on our property. Regrettably, several trees have been identified as both dead and posing a potential danger due to their weakened state. In the interest of everyone's safety, it has become imperative to proceed with their removal. The removal process will be carried out by certified professionals to ensure efficiency and safety. We will also explore opportunities to replace the removed trees with new plantings as part of our commitment to maintaining a vibrant and green environment.  We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work towards ensuring a secure and welcoming environment for everyone.

Girls football kit - Sponsors needed
Following the huge uptake of girls football through the Cygnus programme, a fantastic opportunity has arisen to sponsor our newly formed girls football teams. We would love to purchase playing kits for our teams and would welcome the support of businesses within the local community to help us achieve this.
