Outcomes

In academic year 2022/23, qualifications returned to pre-pandemic standards. Performance measures that are based on qualification results, such as those indicated above, will reflect this and cannot be directly compared to any measures from 2020 - 2022. The DfE also recognises that there are ongoing impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic which have affected individual schools and students differently. More information on qualification grading approaches for 2023 can be found here.

At GCSE in 2023, 44% of students achieved grade 9-5 in both English and mathematics, with 70% of students achieving grade 9-4 in both subjects. 61% of students achieved five standard passes including English and mathematics.

These results enabled Chilwell students to successfully move on to the next stage of their education - with 94% of our students choosing to remain in full-time education, pursuing a wide range of academic and vocational post-16 options.

At A Level in 2023, students at our Lakeview sixth form produced some strong academic outcomes - with all students wishing to progress to university study being academically eligible to do so. 81% of students in the sixth form achieved 3 qualifications at grades AAB, or better.

Historical GCSE and A Level results can be found on the compare school performance website.
