2018 Outcomes

At GCSE, 11% of students achieved grades 7‐9 in both English and Mathematics with the strongest individual attainment being ten grade nines and an A* in further mathematics. 63% of students achieved a grade 4 or higher in English and 66% of students achieved a grade 4 or higher in Mathematics.

In addition, 52.7% (59 pupils) achieved at least a Grade 4 in English and Maths and 38.4% (43 pupils) achieved at least a Grade 5 in English and Maths.

The progress 8 score for 2018 was in the average quintile, with a score of -0.24 (-0.48 - 0.01). 29% of students entered the ebacc qualification.

Students produced particularly strong performances in Art Textiles, Biology, Chemistry, French, German, Further mathematics, Music, RE, Double Science and Media.

At A Level, our students have produced strong academic outcomes in the examinations this summer with all of our university applicants going to the university of their choice. In addition, we have been delighted with the number of A* grades. The quality of care and support for our post sixteen students has resulted in another strong year.
